Fashion has always been a medium of self-expression, and streetwear takes it to another level. It's a genre that immerses you in the city and its culture, with elements stemming from hip hop, skateboarding, and R&B all woven into one. It brings a sense of grit and individuality that many are able to identify with, making it a popular trend amongst the youth. Streetwear first originated in California in the 70s, expanding to New York and eventually gaining momentum in the 90s due to the surge of Hip Hop.

Fast forward to the present day, and we see the rise of a new sub-genre - anime inspired clothing. The influence of anime and manga on streetwear has been present for decades, but now it has a more significant impact than ever before. With anime officially going mainstream and bleeding into various aspects of culture, the fusion with streetwear was inevitable. Big brands have hopped on the anime bandwagon, with collaborations such as Dragon Ball Z x Adidas, Bape x Pokemon, and Michael B Jordan's limited-edition collection with Coach. Even athletes and musicians are showing their love for anime, as seen with Zion Williamson's Naruto shoe collection in collaboration with Jordan. The impact of anime has inspired many brands fans to create their own unique anime-inspired fashion, such as ours Tokyo Dreamers. Born from an individual's love for fashion and anime, it reflects the fusion of both in an original way.

In conclusion, streetwear is more than just a fashion trend, it's a culture that immerses you in the city and its people. The fusion with anime has added a new layer of creativity and expression to the genre, making it more appealing than ever before. It's exciting to see how this trend will evolve in the future, and what new sub-genres it will give birth to. In this era of ever-growing anime-inspired clothing brands, are you more inclined towards the ones that showcase your favorite anime, or the ones that go beyond mere nostalgia and offer a unique and innovative expression of originality and creativity?

Just read it, nice write up. I see you mention anime being mainstream, my question then would be how much more growing room do you think there is left. If you look back even 3 years ago obviously it has grown exponentially and is still growing . I am curious to when it’ll start to level off and what the max market capacity is on it.
